PART TWO/THREE
Digital Detox: Adventure Deep into the Majestic Desert
Seclusion, stars, and soul-seeking await you!
From Marrakech, we journey 7-8 hours (with plenty of stops along the way) for 2 nights of camping in the middle of the Sahara desert.
Turn off your phone for two days, and reconnect to yourself. We will drum around a nightly campfire, camel trek across the sand dunes, meditate to the sunrise, and sandboard like children.
The Erg Chigaga Desert is less touristy and off the beaten path, which means, you might just have a majestic walk along a massive sand dune all to yourself
We’ll journey back to a the Agafay Desert (less than an hour outside Marrakech) for a luxury desert experience for more breathwork ceremonies, meditation, digital detox, and connection to self.
You’ll be treated to a traditional Hammam experience + a sound healing in a magical desert shala.

About Marrakech

Over 300km away from the capital Rabat, Marrakech is situated in the Tensift river valley where the river meanders north of the city. The lush river valley provides the perfect habitat for a variety of palms, citrus fruits, fig, flowers, olive trees and pomegranate. In contrast to the serene green landscape, the red walls of the city are home to a city that seems to never sleep. You’ll discover beautiful gardens, a peaceful oasis for some rest from the busy souks.

About Erg Chigaga
(The Wild Sahara)
Erg Chigaga is a large sand sea or erg in the Moroccan Sahara Desert, known for its remote location and unspoiled beauty. It's the largest erg in Morocco and is situated about 56 kilometers (35 miles) southwest of M'Hamid El Ghizlane.
Unlike the more popular Erg Chebbi, Erg Chigaga offers a more adventurous and less touristy experience, with access requiring a 4WD and off-road driving.

Elizabeth Jane “ EJ” (E-RYT 500, Certified Sound Healer and Breathwork Facilitator) creates a safe, nurturing space that allows for a bit of magic, inner healing, and moments to reconnect to the divine within. She has served as lead teacher for multiple 200hr Yoga Teacher Trainings around the world from India, to Malta, to Indonesia, to Mexico. She founded a Sound Healing Certification Course in Breckenridge, Colorado. To her, these ancient tools (Breathwork, Sound, and Yoga) serve as profound medicine that help us return to our inquisitive, joyful, natural Self. She has been teaching, studying, practicing, and sharing yoga all over the world for over 14 years.

As we venture out of the into the desert, we encourage a digital detox and sobriety for our deeper work and ceremonies will happen here

Yin is a beautiful yoga modality that physically targets the connective tissue and joints of the body; stimulates Chinese Medicine Meridian Lines; and is sequenced with long-holds in poses (3-7 minutes). The perfect compliment to moving our bodies all day!
This peaceful practice sets you up for a great night of sleep!

Yes, especially the area around Agadir and along the coast is very touristic and developed.
Nevertheless you should always be aware about some basic travel rules: Don‘ carry valuables and high amounts of cash with you. In the city area especially be aware of pickpockets. Don’t carry big bags. Moreover you should not walk alone on the beach, in the city, or very lonely roads in the night.
A majority of Morocco is Muslim, expect to hear the call to prayer from the mosque throughout the day/early morning. To be respectful in the city, it is suggest for women to cover shoulders/kneess—long breathable skirts and light shirts that cover shoulders are great!
