An 8-Day Sun + Soul Fantasy Retreat in Magical Scotland
Part One: The Isle of Skye
Sing “How to Train your Dragon”s’ soundtrack as you hike majestic landscapes on the Misty Isle
The history of the Isle of Skye is steeped in folklore and legends, with tales of fairies, giants, and mythical creatures passed down through generations. The Fairy Pools, a series of crystal-clear pools and waterfalls nestled at the foot of the Cuillin Mountains, are said to be the bathing place of the fairies. The Quiraing, a dramatic landscape of cliffs and pinnacles, is said to have been created by giants who roamed the island in ancient times.
Whether you’re exploring ancient brochs, standing in the shadow of mighty castles, or raising a glass of fine whisky to toast the island’s storied past, you’ll be immersed in the timeless spirit of Skye.
“Aye, there’s something truly special about the history of the Isle of Skye, and it’s an experience that will stay with you long after you’ve left its shores.”
Part Two: Edinburgh
With a crisp autumn breeze—books + coffee in hand—walk rainy cobblestone roads of the dramatic gothic city
Edinburgh—the world’s first UNESCO City of Literature—is a truly moody, storybook city, frequently celebrated for its dramatic skyline, historic cobblestone streets, and deep connections to the Harry Potter series, and famous writers Sir Walter Scott, Robert Louis Stevenson, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (Sherlock Holmes).
Edinburgh is also renowned for Halloween, due to its deep-rooted Celtic Samhain history, reputation as one of Europe's most haunted cities. The city embraces the season with intense, dark history, featuring haunted ghost tours, and the dramatic Samhain Fire Festival.
Set your dark imagination alight this moody witchy season.

After slow mornings and nights were we might peak the Northern Lights, we journey down to the Glenfiinnean Viaduct (infamous for the Hogwarts Express scene in Harry Potter!). From there we will board the train ourselves in Fort Williams with the NEW ACOTAR book 6 and spend the 5 hour train ride to Edinburgh marvelinig at the Scottish Highlands, reading, and pretending that we might be on the Hogwarts Express.
We then arrive at our quaint Victorian Edinburgh villa in West End, where we enjoy autumn feels in the gothic literary city.
